So You Want To Detox? Do You Do It At Home Or In A Spa?
Many hotels now offer exclusive detox packages, but are they worth it? Having done a few cleanses, and having been in the hotel business for years, we have our doubts. But regardless, let’s look into this a little more.
I love a spa hotel. It’s incredibly relaxing, and it’s one of the few times I really let myself go and allow some pampering to be done on me. It’s lovely, but I do have my doubts though on whether such a setting is appropriate for a cleanse. Sure, you’re more likely to be disciplined, and you’ll have everything done for you. But on the other hand, you’re wasting money on something you can easily do at home. I much rather do a detox at home, and then reward myself with a weekend in a nice spa hotel. But that’s just me. If you agree, you’re probably wondering what the best ways are to detox at home.
My favorite way to cleanse is using a teatox. This is basically a detox using only teas. It’s easy, simple and cheap. Best of all, it’s completely natural, and therefore much healthier than using nasty chemicals to flush out toxins. It might take a little longer, but I’ve felt much better after a teatox than any other detox I’ve ever done. My favorite product at the moment is SkinnyMint. I’ve read many customer SkinnyMint Teatox reviews, and most of them agree that it decreases bloating, gives you a sense of wellbeing, and helps you lose weight (which is an amazing bonus).
So why not spend some time going through a detox (or a teatox) at home. Go on a diet, which is never much fun. Do some exercise. Make sure you cleanse out your system completely. Then, and only then, go to a spa to relax and reward yourself for all your efforts? This makes so much more sense to me.
Let me know in the comments below what you think. Do you like the idea of doing a detox in a nice spa hotel? Or do you agree with me that a cleanse is better done at home?
